A Day of Polo, Tradition, and Argentine Style in London
Share
There’s a first time for everything… and this past weekend was my first time watching polo live. And what a debut! The setting couldn’t have been more perfect: the #ArgentineClubPoloCup Final at the historic Ham Polo Club.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energy in the air—elegant outfits, a lively crowd, and that unique anticipation that builds before the first throw-in. When the match began, the sound of the horses’ hooves thundering across the field, the speed of the game, and the skill of the players completely captivated me. It was more than just sport—it was art in motion.
I was there alongside Accesorios Argentinos, proudly showcasing our handcrafted designs. Our stand became a little corner of Argentina in London, where people from the Anglo-Argentine community and beyond stopped by to discover pieces full of tradition, quality, and history. It was so rewarding to see the curiosity and appreciation for our culture, and to share the stories behind each product.
A very special thank you to Fátima from The Anglo-Argentine Society and Laura from Ham Polo Club for the kind invitation to set up our stall at such a beautiful event. Your warm welcome and support made this experience truly unforgettable.
What struck me most about the world of polo is how naturally it connects with design and fashion. From hats and boots to belts and handbags, every accessory tells a story of elegance and function—values that are at the heart of our creations.
Leaving Ham Polo Club that evening, I felt both inspired and grateful. Inspired by the beauty of the sport and the people I met, and grateful for the chance to share a piece of Argentina with such a wonderful audience.
Because Argentine polo is not just something you watch—it’s something you feel, live, and carry with you.
